Anole came to the X-Men right before Scarlet Witch's Decimation, keeping his powers when many of his friends lost them. We all know about some important tentpole moments in queer comics history such as Northstar’s landmark coming out, or Mystique and Destiny.

Betsy served as Captain Britain for a short time during her brother's tenure, an identity she would return to when she regained her British body. Anole was part of the training class known as the New X-Men, where he watched several of his classmates killed by humanity's hatred.

Rachel's powers were integral to sending members of the X-Men back in time to stop their future from coming true, and she eventually escaped into the present. But regardless, he’s always been one of my favourites growing up.

Elizabeth Braddock was the first Psylocke, joining the X-Men in the team's Outback era, but that wasn't her first time in a costume. Rachel's hinted at bisexuality stopped being hinted at in the Krakoa Era. Askani ended up in Otherworld with Captain Britain, and the two finally took the plunge together, giving into years of flirtation and attraction.
